Pre-loading for Black Ops 4 on PC begins Oct 9, Blackout FPS to be capped at 120 at launch, Divinity Signature Weapon Pre-order Bonus
Treyarch has announced some new details for PC players looking forward to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. With launch approaching, details on pre-loading has been confirmed.
Pre-loading of Black Ops 4 on Battle.net will begins on Tuesday, October 9 during the morning PDT time.
Another big question about the PC version has been the frame rate for Blackout. Treyarch now says Blackout frame rate will be capped at 120FPS at launch.
Since the framerate affects the load on the servers, we want to ensure that the game delivers a great playable experience for everyone who dives in those first moments.
So, our plan:
- At launch, we will start Blackout with a 120fps cap on PC
- Ensure the moment the game launches that it has high stability for every player
- Raise to 144fps as soon as the servers are stable
- And assuming all looks good, enable uncapped framerates within the first few days (Zombies and Multiplayer modes will be uncapped starting immediately on day 1.
GameStop has shared a new ad highlighting their exclusive Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 pre-order bonus, the Divinity Signature Weapon. The pre-order bonus is the ability to use the Divinity Signature weapon on Day 1. And because you have the base Divinity Signature weapon on Day 1, you can work towards the Divine Justice — the mastercraft version of the weapon — with in-game challenges.
Fight with angels on your side. Unlock the Divine Justice by completing in-game challenges with the Divinity, available day 1. Only at GameStop. Power to the Players.
Treyarch announced details on the Signature Weapons back in August, revealing that these are cosmetic only variants of base weapons in MP that feature new looks. Every weapon has its signature weapons, and the signature weapons’ can be upgraded with challenges and more in-game.
